Setting up the portfolio

  1. Install Portfolio Post Type or Jetpack portfolio module and activate it.
  2. Go to Portfolio > Add New and create a Portfolio Post.
  3. Add a Featured Image for your thumbnail.
  4. Insert a Gallery first and then the content.

Tip: if you are using Jetpack, Go to Settings > Writing and enable “Portfolio posts”.

 

Adding a Portfolio section in frontpage

  1. Go to Customize > Frontpage > Frontpage widgets and add the portfolio widget.
  2. Set category if needed, Change Layouts.

 

Adding the Portfolio Archive to your Menu

Go to Appearance > Menus and create a custom link menu item and insert this in the url field:
